The incident occurred in September 2025 on Bohatyrska Street in the Obolon district of Kyiv, where the driver struck an 84-year-old pensioner. According to the investigation, the driver of a Hyundai cargo van failed to react to the pedestrian in time due to being under the influence of drugs.
