Old driver's licenses are not in the Ministry of Internal Affairs register: who needs to change documents

The State Automobile Roads and Traffic Service of Ukraine has noticed some issues related to the absence of old driver's licenses and vehicle registration certificates in the electronic registers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It has been noted that data on documents issued before certain years were not entered into digital systems, so this information does not appear in online registers.

To resolve this issue, owners of these documents are advised to contact the MIA service center to exchange old licenses for a modern sample. This process involves updating the information in the electronic register and issuing a new document. It should also be noted that as of 2023, the rules for obtaining a driver's license have changed in Ukraine, which will make the process of obtaining the document more accessible and convenient for citizens.
