The government approved the action program: what will change in finances and taxes

The government has approved an action program for Ukraine's financial sector and submitted the document for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada.
The Ministry of Finance is assigned 8 operational goals, which include 13 tasks.
Implementation of these tasks will provide a sustainable resource for financing the security and defense sector, a transparent budget process, trust from international partners, and access to EU resources, as well as the integration of the state into the European system of public financial management.
The operational goals of the Ministry of Finance are defined in the government action program:
Main areas of activity
Among the main areas of activity are ensuring macro-financial stability and effective management of public finances, including the preparation of the state budget for 2026 taking into account the country's needs in conditions of martial law and recovery, as well as improving the tax policy system and combating tax evasion.
