Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the Paton Prize to 73 scientists: 186 million UAH allocated for developments

According to Главком: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the laureates of the National Prize named after Boris Paton for the year 2025, presenting them with diplomas and honorary badges. At the event, 73 laureates were recognized for presenting 10 scientific works that make a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian science.
Scientists' Plans and Their Contributions
As part of this initiative, scientists plan to create 22 developments at the request of the state. More than 186 million UAH will be allocated for the implementation of these scientific projects. Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of the scientists' work, noting that
“it is no secret that each of you strengthens Ukraine every day with your works”
.
The President also stressed the value of scientific achievements, stating that
“all of this is extremely valuable, all of this proves that our Ukrainian science is alive”
. He added that science is as effective a force in countering Russian evil as the army and diplomacy. Thus, the meeting became an important step in supporting scientific research and its impact on the development of the country.
