The enemy heavily shelled Sumy region with drones
On the evening of July 12, Russian forces carried out massive drone strikes on the Sumy region. The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported the aftermath of the attack, as stated by 'Glavkom'.
According to the Regional Military Administration, around 10:00 PM, the enemy struck drones at civilian infrastructure in the Shostka community. As a result of the attack, non-residential premises caught fire.
It is reported that details and consequences of these events are currently being established. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that this Russian attack covered a significant part of the country's territory - from Kharkiv and Sumy to Lviv and Chernivtsi regions. Zelensky noted that the enemy used 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones, over half of which were 'Shaheds'.
In Lviv and Lutsk, strikes by Russian forces were also recorded. There are reports of destruction of residential houses and enterprises, but there is currently no information about injured or dead. In Chernivtsi, information about casualties has been confirmed as a result of night attacks, where two people died and another 14 were injured.
Reports of destruction and damage to civilian objects are coming from various regions of Ukraine following enemy attacks, which indicates the scale and danger of Russian aggression.
