Hostile Telegram channels have spread a new fake story about the theft of 80 million dollars from Israelis
The Center for Countering Disinformation reported that the information being disseminated about Ukrainian fraudsters deceiving Israelis out of 80 million dollars is fake. This fake aims to negatively influence the Ukrainian state and provoke anti-Ukrainian sentiments abroad. It was stated that the video spread by hostile Telegram channels is fake and does not contain reliable information.
Additionally, there was information in the media about a fake video on TikTok, where information is spread about a non-existent decree regarding financial assistance payments to Ukrainians. The Center for Countering Disinformation confirmed that there is no decree numbered 4425, and thus conversations about receiving financial assistance through the 'eSupport' program are fraudulent.
During the information war and the spread of fakes, it is important to check the sources of information and not to believe everything that is circulated on social media. Careful verification will help avoid unpleasant consequences and protect against fraudsters and disinformation.
