According to Главком: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on the losses sustained by Russian forces as of January 18, 2026. Since the war's inception, Russia has suffered substantial depletion of its human and material resources. These staggering figures highlight the immense cost of the Kremlin's ongoing invasion, now in its fourth year.

According to the latest data, Russian personnel losses have reached approximately 1,226,420, marking an increase of 830 individuals. The updated breakdown of equipment losses is as follows:

  • Tanks: 11,571 units (an increase of 5 in the last day)
  • Armored Fighting Vehicles: 23,919 units
  • Artillery Systems: 36,294 units
  • Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS): 1,615 units
  • Aircraft: 434 units
  • Helicopters: 347 units
  • Operational-Tactical Level Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones): 109,450 units (an increase of 845 in the last day)
