Russian Army Losses Cross a New Threshold: Data Released as of December 5

The Ministry of Defense reported that as of December 5, 2025, the enemy has suffered significant losses during operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result, enemy troops were forced to quickly retreat from Ukrainian positions.

"Our troops demonstrated high professionalism and heroism in battle. This allowed us to deliver powerful blows to the enemy and liberate a large territory," said the operation commander on behalf of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to preliminary information, the enemy has lost up to 70% of equipment and combat equipment, as well as more than 50% of combat units. In such a situation, enemy troops were forced to retreat, leaving significant territories under the control of the Ukrainian army.
