NBU reveals data: how green investments impact the ecology of companies

According to НБУ: Today, December 19, at 16:00, an open research seminar organized by the NBU is scheduled on the topic 'Corporate venture capital investments in green technologies and their impact on ESG indicators'. During the event, Valeria Tishakova from Maastricht University will present the results of her research.

The relationship between investments in 'green' startups and environmental indicators

The researcher analyzed data from companies from 2007 to 2021 to establish the relationship between the activities of corporate venture firms, 'green' patenting, and the environmental indicators of enterprises. The study showed that investments in green startups positively affect the environmental indicators of companies, which can be specifically measured.
