Narodowy Bank Polski Hosts 10th Annual Research Conference Focusing on Resilience, Trust, and Innovation in Central Banking

According to НБУ: The tenth edition of the annual research conference, co-organized with Narodowy Bank Polski, spanned two days and brought together over 60 experts from more than 20 countries. Throughout the event, 12 research papers were presented alongside five panel discussions centered on resilience, trust, innovation, and the independence of central banks.
Prominent specialists participated in the event, highlighting the critical need for central banks to evolve in response to modern challenges. Vladimir Lepushynskiy, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, emphasized the remarkable shift in perception of Ukraine-not merely as a case deserving sympathy but as a valuable source of practical experience and proven knowledge. Martin Kocher praised the National Bank of Ukraine’s efforts, describing them as a significant institutional accomplishment.

Jacek Jastrzębski pointed out the impressive increase in alignment of Ukrainian regulations with EU standards, rising from approximately 50% to nearly 80%, even under martial law.
