Elon Musk's xAI Opens Grok Source Code: What It Means for the Industry
Elon Musk's startup xAI has opened the source code of its artificial intelligence model Grok 2.5 and plans to do the same with the Grok 3 model in six months. This was reported by Reuters, according to 'Glavcom'.
"The Grok 2.5 model, which was our best model last year, is now open. Grok 3 will be open in about 6 months," Musk wrote.
Recall that Tesla's shares fell nearly 8% after CEO Elon Musk's plans to create a new political party in the U.S. raised concerns about his commitment to the future of the company, which is struggling with declining sales.
Meanwhile, South Korean company Samsung Electronics Co. has signed a $16.5 billion contract with Tesla Inc. to produce semiconductors for artificial intelligence.
