A notable distinction between the Chinese and international editions lies in their battery capacities. While the Xiaomi 18 Pro in China houses a 7000mAh battery, the global variant (model number 2609BPN61G) comes with a reduced 6000mAh capacity. Similarly, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max's Chinese version is equipped with an 8500mAh battery, whereas the international model (2611FPNFAG) features a smaller 7050mAh unit.

This means the global Xiaomi 18 Pro's battery is approximately 14% smaller (by 1000mAh), and the 18 Pro Max sees a reduction of around 17% (1450mAh) compared to their Chinese counterparts.

Launch Timeline and Key Specifications

The worldwide release of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is set for 2023, though specific dates, pricing, and regional availability have yet to be announced. The phone has already been officially introduced in the Indian market. It’s important to note that these battery capacity details were extracted from the HyperOS system code rather than directly from Xiaomi.

Despite the smaller batteries in global models, charging speeds remain largely consistent with Chinese versions, supporting fast wired charging at 90W to 100W.
