Automatic Supplements for Ukrainian Pensioners to Begin on July 1, 2026
Age-Based Bonuses to Be Issued Automatically
According to ХВИЛЯ: Starting July 1, 2026, Ukrainian retirees aged 70 and older will receive automatic age-based bonus payments. These supplements will range from 300 to 570 hryvnias, depending on the recipient's age. However, pensioners whose monthly pensions exceed 10,340.35 hryvnias will not qualify for these additional payments.
Supplement Amounts by Age Group
- Retirees between 70 and 74 years old will get an extra 300 hryvnias each month.
- Those aged 75 to 79 will receive a monthly supplement of 456 hryvnias.
- The largest bonus, 570 hryvnias per month, will go to individuals aged 80 and older.
A key detail is that no application to the Pension Fund is required, as the payments will be processed automatically.
This policy is part of broader government efforts to strengthen social support for the elderly, a group that often faces financial hardship. By eliminating the need for manual applications, the automatic system aims to reduce bureaucratic obstacles and improve the financial well-being of senior citizens.
