According to hvylya.net: From August 1, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' begins a test verification of passengers through the 'Diia.Pidpys' application for certain domestic flights. The company reported this on the Telegram channel of the press service.

'We continue to use all the available options to prevent abuses when purchasing tickets. Therefore, from August 1, passengers of some domestic trains will be required to verify their identity through 'Diia.Pidpys'', - the company noted.

  • №12 Lviv - Odesa,
  • №105/106 Odesa - Kyiv,
  • №29/30 Kyiv - Uzhhorod.

Tickets for these flights will only be available for online purchase after identity confirmation. This restriction does not apply to trains with a special ticket reserve for military personnel, who will be able to book tickets through 'Ukrzaliznytsia' and 'Army+'.

It is also worth remembering that 'Ukrzaliznytsia' will strengthen control when boarding trains, making the process safer for passengers.

Ukrzaliznytsia introduces a system for verifying passengers through the 'Diia.Pidpys' application for certain domestic trains to prevent abuses and ensure passenger safety. Now, tickets for certain trains will only be available for online purchase after passing identity verification, which is an important step in increasing the level of travel safety.
