New automatic fixation complexes in Ukraine

According to МВС: As of August 20, 2026, 50 new automatic fixation complexes for violations of traffic rules will operate in Ukraine, increasing the total number of such complexes to 426. This decision aims to improve the enforcement of traffic rules and reduce the number of accidents on the country's roads.

Ukrainian drivers can soon expect new complexes located in several cities, including Rivne, Zhytomyr, Smila, Chernivtsi, Mykolaiv, and Stryi. Additionally, new automatic fixation devices will appear in regions such as Kyiv, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Volyn, Transcarpathia, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Cherkasy.

Location of new complexes

The location of the new complexes will be as follows:

• Rivne: Mylynivska St., 26; Kyivska St., 6; Soborna St., 364; Defenders of Mariupol St., 5; Roman Shukhevych St., 2; Kulik and Hudachek St., 10; the intersection of Soborna, Vyacheslav Chornovol, and Mitskevich streets.
• Zhytomyr: Pokrovska St., 21; Pokrovska St., 148-A; Pokrovska St., 187; the intersection of Independence Ave. and Atamans Sokolyvsky St.; Chudnivska St., 103.
• Smila: the intersection of Independence St. and Oles Honchar St.; the intersection of Heroes of the Cold Yar St. and Oleksiy Tsybka Lane.
• Chernivtsi: Sichovykh Striltsiv St., 6; Khotynska St., 3.
• Mykolaiv: the intersection of Mark Kropyvnytsky St. and Engineering St.
• Stryi: the intersection of Shevchenka St. and Olesnytskoho St.

New complexes will also be installed on the highway roads in several regions. For example, in the Kyiv region, they will appear on the highways Н-01, Р-69, and М-07. In the Rivne region, new devices will be located on the М-06 highway, and in Dnipropetrovsk, they will be found on the highways М-30 and Н-08.

At the same time, there are reports of the shutdown of the automatic fixation complex in the city of Mukachevo at the address Ivan Franko St., 74.

“From August 20, 2026, 50 new automatic fixation complexes for violations of traffic rules will begin operating on the highways of Ukraine (the total number of complexes will be 426),” said Oleksiy Biloshytsky.

These changes aim to enhance safety on the roads of Ukraine and improve compliance with rules by drivers.

The introduction of new automatic fixation complexes is part of the Ukrainian government's strategy to reduce accident rates and improve road safety. It is expected that the increase in the number of such devices will allow for more effective monitoring of compliance with traffic rules, which, in turn, may influence a decrease in the number of traffic accidents. It is also important to note that the introduction of new complexes is accompanied by the shutdown of some old ones, signaling the desire to update the control system and adapt it to modern requirements.
