Poles are increasingly traveling to Ukraine for this service due to lower costs

Poles are increasingly choosing dental services in Ukraine due to the significant difference in treatment costs. Both basic and complex procedures are in high demand. This is reported by inPoland.

Experts cite the price difference between the countries as the main reason for this trend.

Dental tourism: how much Poles save

Tooth filling in Ukraine starts from 700 hryvnias, which is approximately 65 zlotys. In Poland, a similar procedure costs from 150 to 300 zlotys.

Other popular services are also significantly cheaper:

• tooth extraction – about 100 zlotys

• installation of metal braces – approximately 1000 zlotys

• ceramic braces – about 1400 zlotys

• implantation – about 1000 zlotys

For comparison, in Poland, implantation starts from 2500 zlotys.

Prices for dental treatment: comparison with Poland

Root canal treatment in Ukraine starts from 17 zlotys per canal. In Poland, such services cost from 200 zlotys.

According to the Polish Central Statistical Office, in February 2025, inflation in the healthcare sector was 5.4% year-on-year, while prices for dental services increased by 9%. In 2024, this figure was 10.3%.

Interestingly, Czechs are increasingly using dental services in Poland, as they are cheaper there than in the Czech Republic.
