According to glavcom.ua: Law enforcement authorities in Cyprus have detained the former president of the Ukrainian Esports Federation, Arthur Yermolaev. This unexpected news became known on December 4 when the suspect's attempt to fly to Dubai failed. Currently, the possibility of his extradition to Estonian law enforcement on an Interpol request is being considered. People associate this case with the criminal activities of a network of call centers.

Arthur Yermolaev is the son of the famous Dnipro businessman Vadim Yermolaev. Their surnames have already caused considerable concern in connection with investigations into the 'Monaco Battalion.' Arthur had a significant influence on the development of Ukrainian esports, but now he will have to share representation with official structures due to the potential extradition. This situation does not leave the Ukrainian public indifferent due to his extensive business and media connections.
