Throughout the entire month, around 360 civilians in the capital have been affected, including 31 deaths. Among those harmed are 16 children, with one child tragically losing their life in a residential building.

During this period, nearly 116 multi-story apartment buildings and about 34 private homes in Kyiv sustained damage. Civil infrastructure has also been hit, impacting healthcare facilities, educational and scientific institutions, as well as transportation networks. The most severely damaged targets include:

• warehouses
• non-residential buildings
• data centers

Recent Developments

On September 28, a Russian drone struck the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, located near Taras Shevchenko National University. This attack claimed the life of an assistant to former NSDC Secretary Volodymyr Horbulin, raising the death toll from this incident to two.

The following night, September 29, Russian forces launched ballistic missile and drone attacks on Kyiv. These strikes damaged both residential and commercial properties, including an educational institution. Among the injured was a person hurt when a six-story apartment building in the Holosiivskyi district was hit.
