Bail for Borisov has been posted: lawyer denies information about 44 million

According to glavcom.ua: For the scandalous former head of the Odesa regional recruitment and social support center, Yevhen Borisov, bail of over 44 million UAH has been posted. This information is reported by 'Glavkom' referencing 'RBK-Ukraine'.

No one has posted bail. He is still in custody. There is no such money.

Borisov's lawyer Oleksandr Makovetskyy stated in a comment for 'Suspilne' that the information about the bail being posted is not true, as Yevhen Borisov is in a pre-trial detention center. He also noted that the Kyiv appellate court has ruled to increase the bail for the former head to 45.42 million UAH.

Previously, journalists uncovered information that Yevhen Borisov attempted to obtain a disability group and also discovered a mansion and an office in Spain belonging to the mother and wife of former head of the Odesa regional TCC, Yevhen Borisov.

According to the court's decision, the bail for the former head of the Odesa TCC has been increased to 45.42 million UAH, although his lawyer denies the information about the bail being posted. Yevhen Borisov remains in pre-trial detention, and a mansion belonging to his mother and wife has been discovered in Spain.
