Businesses Secure 953 Loans Worth 3.18 Billion UAH in One Week Through the Affordable 5-7-9% Credit Program
New Loans Issued Under the Affordable 5-7-9% Credit Initiative
According to Мін. Економіки: In the past week, entrepreneurs obtained 953 new loans totaling 3.18 billion UAH through the Affordable 5-7-9% Credit Program. The largest portion of loan funds-836 million UAH, representing 26.32% of all newly issued credits-was directed to businesses operating in high-risk conflict zones. This highlights targeted financial support to areas most affected by ongoing instability.
Loan Program Performance Since the Start of the Year
Since January, the program has facilitated 29,100 loans amounting to 126.7 billion UAH. Significant funding has been allocated to:
- Businesses located in high-risk conflict zones – 43.39 billion UAH;
- Manufacturing enterprises – 31 billion UAH;
- Investment projects – 20.76 billion UAH.
In 2026 alone, businesses received 1,068 zero-interest energy loans totaling 1.56 billion UAH. Overall, since the program’s inception in February 2020, a total of 164,100 loans have been issued, accumulating 588.8 billion UAH. Of these, 129,300 loans worth 499.1 billion UAH were granted during martial law.
These figures demonstrate a surge in entrepreneurial activity, particularly in conflict-affected areas, suggesting efforts by businesses to adapt and sustain operations amid difficult circumstances.
The Affordable 5-7-9% Credit Program continues to be a vital support mechanism for entrepreneurs, playing a crucial role in economic recovery and encouraging investments in essential sectors.
