Restrictions on the Use of Pyrotechnic Products in Ukraine

According to Главком: In Ukraine, strict restrictions are in place for the circulation and use of pyrotechnic products, implemented for reasons of public safety. The law prohibits the use of pyrotechnics of classes F2, F3, and F4, while only the use of products of class F1 is permitted. The prohibition on pyrotechnics applies throughout the territory of Ukraine without exception, underscoring the importance of adhering to safety regulations.

Liability for Violating the Rules

Regarding liability for violations of these rules, both administrative and criminal liability are provided for. For administrative offenses, citizens can incur a fine ranging from 85 to 255 hryvnias. For official persons and individual entrepreneurs, fines range from 255 to 510 hryvnias. In the case of criminal offenses, a fine ranging from 17,000 to 34,000 hryvnias or imprisonment for up to 5 years is possible. Hooligan actions are punishable from the age of 14, and individuals who reached the age of 16 bear full administrative and criminal liability.

Regarding liability for illegal trade in pyrotechnics, violations of business activity rules also incur fines ranging from 17,000 to 34,000 hryvnias. For violations of pyrotechnics circulation rules, fines range from 595 to 1,020 hryvnias. In case of detected violations, citizens should contact the relevant authorities to report illegal activities. Thus, adhering to the mentioned restrictions aims to ensure the safety of the population and prevent dangerous situations.
