Enemy Combat Losses

According to Кабмін: The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has released preliminary estimates of total Russian combat losses sustained from February 24, 2022, through March 8, 2026. These figures are subject to further verification and refinement. The ongoing conflict, now in its fifth year, has resulted in staggering material and personnel costs for the invading force.

According to the presented data, the enemy's combat losses include:

  • Personnel losses: approximately 1,273,290 individuals, with 930 recorded in the most recent reporting period.
  • Equipment losses:
    • 11,742 tanks (+5)
    • 24,157 armored combat vehicles (+6)
    • 38,059 artillery systems (+55)
    • 1,673 multiple launch rocket systems (+3)
    • 1,322 air defense systems
  • Aircraft: losses stand at 435 fixed-wing aircraft and 349 helicopters (both figures remain unchanged).
  • Operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles: 164,416 units (+2,558).
  • Naval assets: 30 ships/boats and 2 submarines.
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 82,101 units (+289).
  • Special equipment: 4,083 units (+3).

These figures illustrate the immense scale of the adversary's losses, a critical factor in assessing the military situation in Ukraine. The depletion of personnel and hardware can significantly impact the enemy's strategic capabilities and the overall dynamics on the front lines.

As the data is preliminary, future updates may provide a clearer picture of the conflict's trajectory and its potential consequences for both sides involved.
