Remembering Serhiy Sinchuk

According to Главком: Senior Soldier Serhiy Sinchuk was killed in action in the Kharkiv region on March 6, 2026. His death represents a profound loss for his family and community. Sinchuk was born on March 20, 1973, in Rivne, where he attended School No. 22. After his schooling, he qualified as a builder at Rivne's Vocational School No. 1 and worked for over a decade at the Kalyna farming enterprise in Karpylivka.

Military Service and Family

Serhiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in January 2025. He was wounded during his service but chose to return to the front lines, unable to leave his fellow soldiers behind. His wife described him as

"a responsible, kind, and sincere person-the best father to his daughters."

In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors and spending time in the forest.

A farewell ceremony was held for Serhiy on March 14 at Independence Square in Rivne. He was laid to rest in the Avenue of Heroes section of the New Cemetery in Rivne. He is survived by:
