He served in the 152nd Jäger Brigade and had previously been listed as missing in action until forensic examination confirmed the date of his death. The Ovruch City Council made the announcement public.
Mykola Mykolayovych Svishch was born on April 19, 1985, in the village of Midianytsia in the Zakarpattia region. He relocated to Polissia in 2010, settling in the village of Velyka Fosnia, part of the Ovruch community. His last place of employment was as a repair mechanic at Polissia LLC. Mykola was defending a position in the area of the village of Lysivka in the Povorskyi district of Donetsk region.
