Terrifying car accident in Khmelnytskyi region: a teenager and a man died, three others injured

A terrifying accident occurred in the Khmelnytskyi region, where a passenger car collided with a truck. Two people died, three were injured. This information was disseminated by the State Emergency Service (SES).

According to the received information, the accident took place near the village of Yampol in the Shepetivka district. SES specialists saved two lives at the scene, assisting medics in transporting the injured to the hospital.

“At the scene, SES specialists disconnected the battery from power and extricated the bodies of two individuals from the mangled vehicle. Subsequently, together with medical personnel, rescuers transported the injured to the ambulance,” the message states.

One of the drivers and a passenger died at the scene. Two other passengers, including a child, were taken to the hospital, and the truck driver was also injured. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the cause of the accident. We remind you that even on small stretches of road it is necessary to observe traffic rules, as this can save lives.
