Former KCSA official charged with overpayment of 11 million for vehicles for rescuers

According to Прокуратура Київ: In this news, prosecutors of the Kyiv city prosecutor's office informed the former official of the KCSA about the suspicion of negligence during the procurement of special vehicles for the city's rescuers. The woman, who now works as a lawyer, is considered guilty of improper performance of her official duties due to her negligent attitude towards them, which led to serious consequences for the state interests.

According to the investigation, the suspect was an authorized procurement officer. She did not take the necessary measures to determine the average market prices for the vehicles being procured. As a result, vehicles for rescuers were purchased at inflated prices, causing losses of nearly 11 million hryvnias.

Earlier, the director of the Department of Municipal Security of KCSA was also informed of suspicion of negligence during the procurement of special vehicles for rescuers. Similar violations of legislation in procurement are becoming more frequent and require careful control and responsibility from officials.

As a result of the prosecutorial investigations, violations were found during the procurement of vehicles for rescuers, and those responsible were held accountable.
