Zaluzhny called for the cancellation of Netrebko's performance in London: what is known
According to glavcom.ua: In a recent appeal, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ambassador Valeriy Zaluzhny urged the authorities to cancel the performance of Russian opera singer Anna Netrebko in London. He believes that every note and tear from her performance will be perceived differently by Ukrainians due to her collaboration with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is considered responsible for the tragic consequences of the war in Donbas. Zaluzhny emphasized the long-term partnership of Netrebko with Putin, advocating for the cancellation of the singer's scheduled performance in the UK.
«For me and for millions of Ukrainians, every note, every tear will sound differently. Because we remember that for decades this singer stood shoulder to shoulder with Vladimir Putin, the man responsible for the death of thousands of Ukrainian children», - Zaluzhny wrote.
It is also noted that the cancellation of Netrebko's performance at the Royal Opera House in London is currently the subject of heated discussions in British society due to her connections with the Kremlin and support for Russian aggression in Ukraine.
