According to ДСНС: According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, ground-level frost is expected during the nights of October 1 through 3 in multiple regions across Ukraine, with temperatures dropping between 0 and 3 degrees Celsius. This frost event has been classified as a Level I hazard, corresponding to a yellow alert.

Regions at Risk of Frost

On October 1, frost is predicted in the western and northern parts of Ukraine, as well as in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions. By October 2, frost may affect Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions. On October 3, frost is forecasted for southern Ukraine. These weather conditions pose a threat to crops that have yet to be harvested.

The anticipated frosts could harm agricultural produce, especially in areas where the harvest remains incomplete. Farmers and agricultural workers are advised to take precautionary measures to safeguard their crops from potential damage. Such frost events may also have repercussions on food supply and market stability if significant quantities of produce are affected.
