The "Kyiv Digital" app now notifies about changes in public transport

The "Kyiv Digital" app has launched an updated notification system for changes in the operation of public transport in the capital. Now users will receive messages about closed metro entrances, delays and cancellations of flights. This information is reported by the official portal of Kyiv.

According to the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Valentyn Mondriivskyi, the service allows for prompt updates on changes in metro and ring railway movement. To do this, users need to add selected stations or routes to their list in the "Transport Movement" section. In case of changes, the app will send push notifications so that users can adjust their trip in advance.

The updated notifications work not only for the metro and the electric train. Information can also be received about:

• buses

• trolleybuses

• trams

• funiculars.

In the profile settings of the "Kyiv Digital" app, users can choose their preferred notification format. Notifications can be enabled only for specific routes or can encompass all city transport data.

"The update aims to make urban transport more predictable and understandable for all Kyiv residents and visitors. The "Kyiv Digital" should not only inform, but also help people make decisions even before leaving home," Valentyn Mondriivskyi noted.

The update is already available to users. To activate the function, you need to add routes or stations to favorites and check notification settings in your profile.

We remind you that the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Kyiv City State Administration has expanded the functionality of the "Kyiv Digital" app by integrating the possibility of submitting requests to the "City Contact Center" 1551 directly from the services map.
