Deputy Minister of Defense on the buildup of Russian forces and army support for 2025
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Serhiy Boyev, held a meeting with representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense to discuss the situation regarding countering potential aggression from Russia.
Boyev thanked his Norwegian partners for their continuous support of Ukraine's defense capabilities and emphasized the importance of further participation in the PURL initiative. 'We cannot trust Russia's words about the desire to end the war; we see how their troops are strengthening. Our task is to prepare the Armed Forces for the future,' he stressed.
Serhiy Boyev also highlighted the importance of funding the Ukrainian defense industry to produce necessary interceptor drones, reconnaissance systems, and other innovative tools.
The Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense noted the importance of cooperation with Norway in the defense sector and emphasized the need for the Armed Forces to be ready for potential threats and challenges in the future.
