According to Главком: A 58-year-old foreign national was arrested in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district for attempting a residential burglary. The suspect gained entry to an apartment on Shchuseva Street using a lock-picking tool. The apartment's owner, noticing the illegal intrusion, immediately contacted the police, enabling a swift response to the incident.

A joint investigative and operational team detained the suspect directly inside the residence. During a search, stolen jewelry valued at approximately 100,000 hryvnias was recovered, along with the tools used to commit the crime. A criminal investigation has been initiated, and the detainee has been formally charged under Part 3 of Article 15 and Part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
