Russians attacked the Kryvyi Rih bridge in Kremenchuk: details of the strike and restoration of traffic
On the night of September 7, the road surface of the bridge over the Dnipro River in the city of Kremenchuk was damaged. It was previously reported that the occupiers struck the Kryvyi Rih bridge. The chairman of the board of JSC 'Ukrzaliznytsia' Oleksandr Pertzovsky showed what the bridge looks like after the Russian attack, as reported by 'Hromadske'.
«The enemy attempted to sever both banks of the Dnipro in Kremenchuk. Road traffic has already been restored. I thank all railway units for their selfless work, who were already on site at dawn and practically joined in the work simultaneously with the work of sappers.
We are working on restoring rail communication. Currently, bus shuttles have been launched – no long-distance flight will be canceled, we will take everyone!», he wrote.
The mayor of the city, Vitaliy Maletskyi, reported that restoration work is still ongoing, so temporary traffic closures on the bridge are possible in the coming days.

Earlier, a video appeared capturing the moment of the strike on the bridge in Kremenchuk. The camera recorded how a car was moving on the bridge when a drone hit it. The mayor of Kremenchuk, Vitaliy Maletskyi, reported that the driver was not injured. «Regarding that very car – the driver is alive!», the mayor wrote.
As a result of the attack on the bridge in Kremenchuk, the road surface was damaged, leading to temporary traffic closures. However, thanks to the promptness and coordination of actions, road traffic has been restored and bus shuttles have been launched to provide local residents and guests of the city with necessary transportation.
