Ukrainians at the Top of the World Chess Composition Championship!
According to Спортивний комітет: The 49th World Championship for Solving Chess Compositions (WCSC 2026) concluded in Magdeburg, Germany. The Ukrainian team achieved an impressive result, finishing in 4th place in the team standings. The team consisted of:
- Valerii Kopyl
- Oleksii Solovchuk
- Stanislav Vasyliv
- Taras Rudenko
- Nika Riabenko
Taras Rudenko especially stood out, becoming the bronze medalist among juniors under 23 years old. He also received a special prize in the U23 category and met all the necessary standards, earning the title of international master. These achievements highlight the high level of Ukrainian chess players in the global chess composition arena.
