The lineup for this stage was determined based on results from the first round, with matches scheduled for the fall of 2026-either between September 21 and October 6, or from November 9 to 17.
Dmytro Mykhailenko is the head coach of the Ukrainian U-19 side. A total of 28 teams will take part in League A, divided into seven groups of four. The top three teams from each group will keep their place in League A heading into the third stage, set for spring 2027. The draw for the Q3 round will be held on December 10, and all second-round matches must be completed by November 17 at the latest.
2026 European Championship
In addition to these qualifiers, Ukraine's U-19 team will also compete in the 2026 European Championship. That tournament will feature eight teams split into two groups of four. Ukraine has been drawn into Group B alongside Croatia, Serbia, and Italy. The 2026 European Championship will take place in Wales from June 28 to July 11. This competition also serves as UEFA's qualifier for the 2027 U-20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
