Young Ukrainian boxers became the best team in Europe: all winners

According to glavcom.ua: Our young boxing talents not only impressed but also surprised with their achievements at the European Championship for juniors. The Ukrainian team conquered the first overall place, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This success in various weight categories brought us 10th place in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival. Great job!

Medalists and sports

• Gold: Kateryna Moroz, Vasylyna Olasyuk, Sofiia Opliukh, Anheline Rumyantseva, Diana Polishchuk, Bohdan Kozak.
• Silver: Oleksandra Cherevata, Yevangelina Petruk, Vladyslava Nalyvaiko, Mykhailo Sydorenko, Mykyta Koval, Oleksandr Khomenko.
• Bronze: Oleksii Kolbaia, Rostyslav Horodynskyi, Kiril Bondarenko, Dmytro Kasianenko, Polina Kovera.

Our athletes showed impressive results in various sports, including judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis. This championship became one of the most successful for Ukraine, adding to the already impressive achievement of 25 medals in 2019.

Universiade in Germany

For our country, the winning performances did not end – the Ukrainian team took 14th place in the medal standings at the World Summer Universiade. Ukrainian athletes won 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals, including bronze in the 20-kilometer race walk.
