According to Главком: The Ukraine futsal team will begin its preparation for Euro-2026 by playing a friendly match against Slovenia on January 17, 2026. This match will be the first test for the team before important competitions to be held from January 21 to February 7, 2026.
After the meeting with Slovenia, the Ukrainian team has scheduled matches:
- against Armenia on January 22, 2026;
- against Lithuania on January 25, 2026;
- the 3rd round match against the Czech Republic on January 28, 2026.
Euro-2026 will take place in three cities: Riga, Kaunas, and Ljubljana.

In the context of preparing for international competitions, it should be noted that the last match of the qualifying group stage for the World Championship between Ukraine and Iceland ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of Ukraine.
