Announcement of rotations in law enforcement agencies and the defense sector
According to Главком: President Volodymyr Zelensky announced rotations of heads of law enforcement agencies and a reboot of the defense sector, particularly the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The proposed candidate for the position of the new Minister of Defense is Mykhailo Fedorov. Changes in the Ministry of Defense system will begin after the support of his candidacy by the Verkhovna Rada.
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that he will personally deal with the rotations of all leaders.
“I will personally deal with the rotations of absolutely all leaders,”
he noted, adding that
“there are no dismissals, there are rotational steps.”
These changes are taking place against the backdrop of escalating situations in the country and the need to strengthen defense capabilities.
Appointments of new leaders
It is also known that Kyrylo Budanov has been appointed head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, while Oleg Ivashchenko will lead the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. These appointments indicate a desire for renewal and an increase in the effectiveness of key structures in ensuring national security.
