According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a forthcoming three-way diplomatic meeting, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of next week in the United Arab Emirates on February 1, 2026. The Ukrainian delegation is set to depart for the negotiations on Monday evening. Throughout the day, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, briefed the president while preparing the framework for the discussions.

Diplomatic Efforts and International Support

Zelenskyy also expressed hope for active engagement from the American side, particularly regarding de-escalation measures that could include a reduction in strikes. He stressed that much depends on American efforts to build public trust in the process and its outcomes. This meeting is part of a broader diplomatic offensive by Kyiv to maintain international focus and support.
