According to ХВИЛЯ: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the preparation of a trilateral meeting to be held in early March in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. During the meeting, key issues related to energy and security will be discussed. Zelensky noted that it is necessary to finalize the achieved results to ensure real security guarantees.
Negotiations and strategies
To prepare for the trilateral format, the president held negotiations with:
- Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov,
- Head of the 'Servant of the People' faction David Arakhamia,
- Representatives of the US President Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
According to Zelensky, the new format could significantly influence the situation.
As part of the preparation for the meeting, it is planned to approve the strategy for restoring and protecting the energy system by March 1. The president also reported that over 30 Russian missiles were shot down in one day, most of which were aimed at energy facilities. He emphasized that there are currently no signs of a halt to military actions on the part of Russia, and, on the contrary, Putin continues to prepare for further hostilities.
Zelensky's address took place against the backdrop of the 1464th day of the war, highlighting the duration of the conflict and the relevance of the issues that will be discussed at the trilateral meeting.
