According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump are expected to visit Kyiv around the turn of spring and summer. This statement came after he received a briefing from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who reported on the outcomes of talks held in the United States. Those meetings focused on humanitarian cooperation, particularly the exchange of prisoners of war.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who also serves as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and leads Ukraine’s negotiating team, arrived in Miami on May 7 for meetings with U.S. officials.
