Expressing gratitude, Zelensky thanked Trump for endorsing the Graham sanctions legislation, emphasizing that

“peace must prevail. Thank you to everyone standing with Ukraine! Thank you to all who are supporting us!”

In preparation for the upcoming meeting, Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and the U.S. president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner visited Kyiv. Zelensky highlighted that they thoroughly reviewed important details and that the delegation gained a clear understanding of Ukraine’s situation.
