According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed an immediate audit of all agreements related to the supply of missiles for the country's air defense systems. He also demanded that the delivery timeline be updated by tomorrow. To fulfill this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and the Presidential Office team will conduct a rapid assessment of commitments made with international partners, including provisions of ammunition for F-16 fighter jets. Zelensky emphasized the critical need to secure additional air defense missiles by October, highlighting that several deals agreed upon with world leaders have yet to be implemented at the operational level.

Focus on Regional Resilience Efforts

The meeting also placed significant emphasis on monitoring the progress of resilience plans across Ukraine’s regions and major cities on a weekly basis. Military leadership and government officials are tasked with developing supplementary measures to bolster protection in areas lagging behind in executing these plans. Zelensky expressed gratitude toward Germany, Norway, Finland, and other allies for their swift readiness to assist.

Following recent Russian attacks targeting Kyiv’s critical infrastructure, the response system has been adjusted, leading to a reallocation of resources discussed at the meeting. Kyiv’s local authorities are expected to be prepared to make rapid decisions supporting citizens in times of crisis. Both the Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces are scheduled to report on the steps being taken. It is important to recall that on September 30, Russia launched ballistic missile and drone strikes against Kyiv and its surrounding energy infrastructure.
