According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has directed Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to ramp up production of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) to 50,000 units by 2026. The volume of UGVs already contracted this year has more than doubled compared to last year. This decision emerged from a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, which also addressed ballistic missile defense and intelligence reports on Russia's economic situation. “And this level definitely needs to be even higher. Ukraine and the General Staff have a task-at least 50,000 UGVs for this year. Everyone must understand: this saves lives. Logistics on the front line, evacuation of the wounded, combat missions-the use of UGVs is now developing as actively as possible. That is how it should be.”
