According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his support for newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the end of the Russian war and achieving peace. He shared his views on social media on August 1.
'We see and support President Trump's efforts to end the Russian war, all the killings, and to achieve a worthy and long-term peace. We are grateful to everyone in the world who supports efforts for peace and helps us protect lives,' the Ukrainian leader stated.
Some of his words were directed at Russia to emphasize Ukraine's readiness for high-level negotiations. Zelensky noted the need to move from technical discussions to dialogue at the level of state leaders and urged Russia to show readiness for peace.
'Ukraine offers to move from exchanging statements and meetings at a technical level to a conversation between leaders. America proposed this. Ukraine supported it. Russia needs to show its readiness,' Zelensky expressed his position.
In the context of the news, Ukraine's position in resolving the conflict with Russia and supporting further peaceful negotiations is extremely important.
