Zelensky Confirms Strike Over 500 Kilometers into the Moscow Region

According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed a successful special operation carried out in Russia's Moscow region. According to reports, Ukrainian long-range weapons traveled more than 500 kilometers to hit designated targets, despite the area's dense network of Russian air defense systems. The strikes targeted facilities in the Moscow suburbs as well as in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

The Moscow region is the most heavily defended zone in Russia, with the highest concentration of modern air defense and electronic warfare systems. Even so, Ukrainian drones managed to strike strategic sites, including:

• the Elma Technopark in Zelenograd, home to the Angstrem plant;
• the Kacha and Belbek military airfields near Sevastopol.

'These are entirely justified responses to Russia's prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities. This time, Ukraine's long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling Russians: their state must end its war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. He added: 'The distance from Ukraine's state border is over 500 kilometers. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow region is the highest. But we overcome it. Glory to Ukraine.' This operation serves as a response to the protracted war and the systematic shelling of peaceful Ukrainian cities, underscoring the readiness of Ukrainian forces to strike deep into enemy territory.
