According to МВС: Ukraine's Medical Workers' Day, observed annually, includes tributes to healthcare professionals during the country's ongoing war with Russia.

On their professional holiday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky extended greetings to healthcare workers, emphasizing the significance of their efforts in today's context. In his address, he highlighted various categories of medical personnel: doctors, combat medics, nurses (both male and female), physician assistants, paramedics, emergency medical services staff, and those working in hospitals, intensive care units, operating rooms, stabilization points, and frontline medical facilities.

“On this day, we annually extend our thanks to all medical personnel,” remarked Volodymyr Zelensky.
