According to glavcom.ua: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, warned of a possible intensification of pressure from the Russian army on Ukrainian positions in the coming days. This information was conveyed by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy.
Zelensky noted that considering the situation on the political and diplomatic level, he has information about the possible actions of the Russian troops. The President emphasized the importance of readiness for an asymmetric response in the event of an escalation of the situation at the front.
"Ukraine must have strong positions and a tangible counteraction to the enemy," Zelensky emphasized.
The President also stated his readiness to expand sanctions against Russia if an agreement cannot be reached at trilateral negotiations between the USA, Ukraine, and Russia.
During a conversation with journalists, Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the seriousness of the situation and the importance of the Ukrainian army's readiness for possible actions in case the situation at the front deteriorates.
