235 National Guard and Border Guard Troops Receive Posthumous Presidential Honors in Latest Decree

According to МВС: President Zelenskyy has signed Decree No. 830/2026, formally granting state awards to personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The decree covers 377 National Guard members, 182 of whom are being honored posthumously. It also includes 83 border guards, with 53 of those awards granted posthumously. In total, 235 service members have been recognized after death. These distinctions reflect the courage and sacrifice of those who served while carrying out their official duties.

Such recognition has become a meaningful part of how Ukraine honors its defenders amid the ongoing war. This particular round of awards highlights both the scale of loss and the deep commitment of these troops to protecting the country.
