Zelenskyy Issues Ultimatum to Diplomats Over Air Defense Delivery Timeline

According to Главком: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held in-depth consultations with his diplomatic team, outlining key objectives to be achieved by August. The primary focus of these efforts is securing air defense systems (ADS) from international partners. Details of these meetings were shared during Zelenskyy’s evening video address. He stressed that the schedule for air defense deliveries is a matter of national importance and placed personal responsibility on diplomats to ensure its success.

Zelenskyy underscored the need for the government team, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to prioritize air defense supplies.
“The government team, the ministries of foreign affairs and defense of Ukraine must concentrate on this. Results are required. Well-organized work on domestic production and collaboration with partners on long-range weapons for our sanctions, as well as our fully justified medium-range responses against the occupier,”
the president stated.
In his address, Zelenskyy also thanked Ukrainian defenders for their operations against the enemy, noting that “every day, it’s clear that Ukrainian precision is working.” He expressed gratitude to all involved forces, including the SBU, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the GUR, highlighting the importance of their efforts. Zelenskyy emphasized that pressure on Russia must continue in order to bring peace closer.
Additionally, the president congratulated the warriors of the SBU’s Special Operations Center 'Alpha' on the 32nd anniversary of the unit’s founding. He also reported on progress toward establishing a European anti-ballistic missile system, with a particular focus on key topics from the 'Ramstein' format, which include:
