According to МВС: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that almost 190 strike drones and ballistic missiles were launched overnight against the energy facilities in Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region, as well as other parts of Ukraine. Emergency teams are actively responding to the aftermath of these assaults, which have caused fatalities and injuries among civilians.

The primary focus of the attacks was the capital’s power infrastructure and that of Kyiv Oblast. Early reports indicate that one drone struck a grocery supermarket in Ivankovychi, where firefighters are still battling a blaze. As of now, these attacks have resulted in 14 injuries nationwide and five fatalities, including a child. Zelensky highlighted that

“Ukrainian defenders managed to intercept some of the ballistic missiles.”

He also noted that

“new air defense support packages have recently been received from our international partners.”
